About Me

I am a hard-working, adaptable UX Writer, with a track record of success. For the last few years I worked on UX copy for a range of digital products at Wix in Tel Aviv, Israel. The copy that I produced was always highly user-focused, taking into account the user’s journey and their specific needs. Working with a multi-disciplinary team of UX and UI designers, Product Managers and developers, I continuously optimised content for the best possible results. I am familiar with agile, collaborative methodologies and find that this mindset is the most successful when it comes to producing great work, fast. While at Wix, I also took the lead on all UX text on DeviantArt, the world’s largest online art community. I played a large role in shaping and defining the tone and voice for the revamped version of the site, communicating with key stakeholders regularly throughout the process. I worked closely with the Marketing team to maintain tone and voice across multiple touch points. I continuously championed UX writing and educated my team on its importance within the user experience.

I have contributed articles to a wide range of publications such as MixMag, USA Today, The Culture Trip and Time Out. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English, and an NCJT diploma in Journalism. I strive for continued excellence by taking creative writing courses and always keep up-to-date on digital trends.

Why I Write

I write because it brings me pleasure. It’s the simple things. Words forming at the end of a biro pen, letters tapped out quickly, beats of inspiration on a Mac keyboard. Scrawled notes on the back of a receipt, sentences pasted together in front of a glowing screen. Deletions, additions, edits. The switching of paragraphs, the fixing of typos. A raised glass at a hit deadline, and the feeling of fulfilment at a job well done.
